We’re all for trying new things. It’s what keeps life exciting us helps us stay young. But we often forget the importance of breaking routine and living it up a little.

When we watch a toddler exploring the world for the very first time, we watch as the child learns about his surroundings in wonder. We’re delighted when the child takes his first steps, or eats his first meal with his own spoon. We get thrilled over the fact that this child can say words like ‘mama’ and ‘dada’, because these are firsts. This little human being is trying things that are new, and loving it! And feel joy as we watch it happen.

So why do tend to give up on our own explorations? It’s easy for the dullness of everyday life to get us down and trap us into a predictable routine. We live with so many stresses: deadlines, traffic, financial strain… the list goes on, and on, and on. When do we find the time to liven things up? It seems like such an effort to change the way things are. It’s almost a daunting thought.

We’re so consumed with responsibilities and commitments that we often forget to take a step back and look at our lives to evaluate the crucial things we’re missing. More time with the family perhaps. Longer vacation time. Fewer bills to pay by cutting down. We often think, once we ‘clean up’ our lives, we’ll find the time to enjoy living. But why wait? Why not start living the life you want to live today?!

We want you to commit to trying something new and fun everyday. It doesn’t have to be something big, start with the small things, like riding the bus to work, or trying out that new item on the menu at your favourite restaurant. Once you’re a little more comfortable with the idea of spicing things up, take it up a level. You could try playing casino slots online and winning big time, or dying your hair ombre. These can open the door to a whole new world of fun and excitement; to a whole new you!

Eventually, as you try more and more new things, you’ll realise that there are so many ways to shake things up in your everyday life. Even if you do work a boring job, or live in a typical apartment – these little steps will help you to open the gates to fun-freedom!

We’re not asking you to bungee jump off mountain tops or decide to go drag racing. We’re simply suggesting you try something small new, and see how it goes.

We’re pretty confident that you’ll find the thrill of it all quite addictive.

So join us as we commit to making more fun decisions in life, with slightly a little less thought.

Happy living is healthy living!
